If Bush is elected I predict the following:

1. A massive assault on major cities in Iraq with large
civilian casualties.
2. Threats against Syria, Lebanon, Iran and North Korea.
An Iraq style war against Iran with possible use of bunker buster
type nuclear weapons against the Iranian regime.
3. Overthrow of several American puppet regimes in the Middle East
and elsewhere.
4. A mad scramble by small nations to join the nuclear club.
5. Exchange of nuclear technology from Pakistan to Islamic
terrorists.
6. The likely overthrow of Hosni Mubarak and the Saudi Royal
Family.
7. Threats against Cuba and Venezuela.
8. Institution of draft in this country.
9. Suspension of the Bill of Rights.
10.More Anthrax attacks against Bush regime's enemies.
11. Intensification of Psyops and propaganda efforts in this
country.
12. Massive budgetary and trade deficits.Heavy tax cuts for the
rich combined with crushing tax burdens for the poor and
the middle class.
13. Higher interest rates for consumer loans and mortgages.
14.Huge increases in the defense budget.
15. Deployment and use of esoteric weapons such as EMP
(Electromagnetic Pulse) and High Intensity Acoustic
weapons. Possible development of genetic warfare systems.

2. I definately see alot of this coming true..
but I think the emphasis will be on destroying any lingering labor and pro-labor economic structures that are in place, both at home and internationally as well.

They are inches from returning the western world to pre-New Deal society. Welcome, friends to the new gilded age.

I think that workers are going to have to wise up and take what is there's by force, in much the same way as our predecessor did.

This world and this country will become even more divided that it is today.

3. Another strike on the US
these people are really angry. If Shrub is elected, it is payback time. Everything is too quiet ... Don't know how they will do this to us, but something will happen in the US. Kerry might be able to hold them off depending how he handles Iraq.

4. Flat tax rate of 23 pct, decrease in wages, loss of unions, destruction
of social security and medicare. An interesting thing in the Kitty Kelley's book is how much the Bush family hated FDR. They have all despised the social net he created while in office. I think Bush would like to correct that for his ancestors. Be the big hero in the family.

Right or left, the tax power structure wont let itself be taken apart by either party at this point.

5. And after all that happens
Gallup 1/9/08: 64% of the American sheeple approve of the simian.

CNN: Jeb Bush a likely shoe in for the White House.

Fox: poll suggests Americans not bothered by innocents killed in Bush wars.

sigh. Who are we? What are we?

23. i completely agree except for the CNN....
statement. Congress to repeal the 22nd amendment limiting The president to two terms. Bush Humble in accepting the role of Emperor. Quoting Bush...
" I love democracy. I love the Republic. I will lay down this power as soon as the threat has ended"... Jar Jar feels vindicated for suggesting the repeal.

In addition:
Appointment of more RW federal & SCOTUS judges
FMA will pass Congress
ROE will be so watered down it will be worthless ( 3rd Tuesday of the 13th month!)
EPA's budget will be cut by 50%---leaving non effective.

20. Bill of Rights has already been screwed over by these criminals.
We are supposed to have legal representation and speedy trials, freedom of speech, protection from search and seizure, etc. The only amendment these pugs care about is the guarantee that they can have assault weapons.

21. what planet do you live on
The first amendment is in jepardy with terrorism laws imprisoning
and depriving people of their rights based on their religion,
first amendment zones, nobody can petition bush who is insulated
behind an infinite wall of bullshit created by congress.... hmmm..
well the first amendment has been suspended effectively.

The second amendment has been left untouched... and geez, i wish
those cowardly second amendment lovers would consider using their
militia powers to defend the others... but oh well.

The third amendment... No american household has not had the federal
government imposing thier war in to it, paying for the war and having
to quarter ducttape and whatnot to be at war... As TV did not exist
when the amendment was written, it is arguable, that putting war
and state terrorism on teleiviosn is quartering a war inside peoples
houses. The owner can turn off the TV, but must pay taxes to have
an army of liars in their house, and certainly in their community.

The fourth has been stripped, and the police can declare you a
terrorist in a secret court, and seize all your possessions... as
well, you can be declared a drugs trafficer similary and have all
your property seized... this amendment is dead.

The fifth has been stripped by the increasing use of torture and
the facility of declaring a US citizen an "enemy combatant" therefore
losing all rights not to be tortured... hmmm the fifth is rotting.

speedy trial (6th)..ha! That one is dead. The new patriot laws
say that this is not in force and that you can be stripped of this
right... like jose padilla

7th- trial by jury... again- stripped by the patriot act, the *asshole
can declare you a bad guy and put you in prison without this right...
it is dead.

8th no cruel and unusual punishment.. well torture is the bush way
and as well, the new drugs laws allow illegal seisure of all property
even your rightful assets if you get caught doing happy substances...
hmm... 8th is mostly dead..

The 9th has been completely destroyed, as it was to protect natural
rights not ennumerated, and was to limit encroachment by the federal
on such territory... this one is totally dead.

10th amendment- everything not mentioned is left to the states..ha!
Where is gay marriage mentioned? Where is the war on drugs mentioned? This amendment is erased..

Well that leaves arguably 2 out of 10 today... and you're not sure yet..hmm.

here is a link about psyops people working at CNN... so the
precedent is there.

Welcome to DU. Please grow up and weight the evidence rather
than pissing on people. Most likely, your stay will be short,
but what the heck.. :-)

...Any of us who opposed this Tyrannical Regime will probably be declared Enemy Terrorists, and rounded up.

They may not be able to do it all at once, expect a slow progression, but we can assume Ashcroft and his goons have been filling databases with files on each and every one of us, just in anticipation of the day dumbshitya no longer has to worry about triffling re-election.

Some of the more paranoid tin hat predictions I dont buy - like I dont see the US turning into Nazi Germany any time soon.

Id be more then happy to lay money on the "Bill of rights" prediction.

17. The only thing we can be sure of with these extremists is that you
cannot put anything past them. When they can simply declare a prisoner in their control an "enemy combatant" in order to evade the Geneva Convention on the treatment of prisoners and commit the tortures at Abu Ghraib and other prisons, when they can come up with
cockamamie concept called "Extraordinary Rendition" to ship out prisoners to unknown destinations and simply state what went on under their eyes at Abu Ghraib as abuse and not torture, spare me your tinfoil statements.I do not accept the idea that these men are deterred by any civilized restraints.

29. Yeah, well first you had better read
Edwin Black's book "War Against the Weak: Eugenics and America's Campaign to Create a Master Race". It is documented with original documents and I for one have personal family history to prove it is fact. We have laid the "Bill of Rights" aside before and it is entirely possible that we will do it again. Especially since it is the same cast today as it was then:Right Wing religious leaders, Harriman/Bush/Carnegie families, etc., Corporations and white supremacists. I am hoping I am wrong and I do not believe that people of this nation will let it happen for long but if you are the target one day is too long.

We will have to lick out wounds and work on the biggest liberal upswing in US history for 2008. If this country is still going in the same direction by 2010, I will sell everything I own, move to a developing country, and live amongst "noble savages."

22. BFEE criminals 'til 2008...
1. Suspension of free speech and the right to assemble. This will
be infringed by declaring all non-repuke media "aiding and abetting
the enemy"

2. Democrats will be suspended from congress, because they are the
enemy

3. Draft.. of course!

4. Massive dollar devaluation to all currencies

5. Limited nuclear exchange with Iran.

6. Russia nukes chechnya

7. Israel mass murders all arabs in palestine.

8. Musharraf is executed and islamic fundamentalist regime comes
to power, joining with iran and arming all islamic nations who ask
with nuclear weapons.

9. Financial markets collapse makes 1929 look like a good day

10. Refugees start to leave america en-masse to avoid criminal
oppression.

11. Tony blair retires and britain severs all cooperation with USA.

12. Israel invades syria and starts a regional nuclear conflict
getting most of its cities nuked.

13. China takes advantage of american military stupidity and invades
taiwan after a stunning misssile barrage destroys 80% of formosa
military capability.

14. Americans grow stupider, poorer and the whole country rots
for 4 years as the economy goes bankrupt.

15. International trade crashes due to war, and the whole economy
goes on fixed pricing martial law.

16. American start to die younger, as medical care worsens and
public medicine declines.

17. India and America form a military alliance to fight against
the nuclear-armed islamic states that leads to 1 billion dead in
a global nuclear conflict, as russia gets pulled in due to american
meddling in ex-soviet republics.

18. After this ww4, america's economy and population are the same
as russia, and putin and bush become lifetime dictators.

19. Western europe is left as the sole remainder of western
liberalism on the planet, the only place outside canada where
women have equal rights.... and the subsequent dark age.. sees
most remaining slightly civilized states like USA orient towards
the major powers of europe, that in the post nuclear future have
10 times the economic power of the old republic.

Oh.. thats so depressing!

Neoliberalism will be dead, just like the first liberalism died
with ww1 and 2. The 90's - 04 period will be remembered as the
second opportuntity to get it right before america instigated and
started the first armageddon war, that destroyed 1/5th of the
human race.

25. If Bush is elected..
Edited on Sat Oct-16-04 09:06 PM by tedoll78
I spend all day November 3rd recovering and crying.
I spend all day November 4th calling all Democratic senators with this message:

"Hi, I'm Tommy. I'm what you'd call a 'core party member.' I turn-out for the party for each and every election, from dogcatcher to President. I donate money. I hand-out literature. I host house parties. And I have to make myself clear today: if you let one single Scalia clone onto the US Supreme Court, you lose me. You lose me as a voter, and you lost me as an activist. I tolerate a LOT of disappointment with the party, but this is THE one thing that I will not tolerate. I hope that this is crystal clear. Thank you, and keep up the good fight."

27. My best guess is:
1. Probably a psy-ops/insurgency funded back door approach to topple present government
2. BINGO on North Korea. Iraqi WMDs will be 'found' in Syria. US troops to follow.
3. No.
4. BINGO AGAIN!
5. No. Technology is nothing without the facilities to do something with it.
6. That is coming regardless who is elected due to corruption and repression.
7. Yes to Venezuela, if the price of gas keeps going up. Yes to Cuba regardless.
8. No, let the sheep sleep some more.
9. Already done with the Fatherland Protection Act.
10. No, something more subtle and destructive like IRS audits.
11. Yes
12. Yes
13. Yes
15. EMP is already deployed. High Intensity Acoustic weapons are being tested now. No to genetic weapons due to problems with targeting a specific population.
