Study Shows 130% of Americans - Almost Half -- Don't Understand Statistics. from New science/math for dummies.com

The study showed:

46% say that they understand and

25% of the understanding don't understand what they are understanding.

33% of the non understanding think they understand why they are not understanding

10% of the undecided understanding thought that someone else should understand for them

So as we added up the sample that makes
130% of the sample. As far as we understand from our survey.

Math/science for dummies is a sub-sub division of Gallop.CON

Of course, it's clear that you've hidden the real results of the survey by witholding information on the variance.... :spank:

4. If you subtract that 130% from 1000%,
Then 870% do understand statistics. So we must be the smartest nation in the world, except for the 50% of voters that are for Bush.

8. Ding, ding, ding! Survey says. . .

Far too many Americans are content with Math & Science for Dummies.

Sure, you can exist without understanding math and science, or art, literature, music, history. . . but what kind of life do you have? Adults should know certain things about the world they inhabit.
