MSNBC story suggested Dems are trying to suppress military vote |
|
It was this morning, at about 8:50 PST. Wesley Clark and Republican Congressman Steve Buyer. They were talking about widespread support for Bush in the military, and repeatedly offered the phrase "some fear oversees military vote won't be counted". That was the thrust of the piece.
I'm curious- how could Dems suppress the oversees military vote, when they've been so marginalized in the political system? Republicans even have a majority of governorships now.
What exactly is their fear here? I mean physically- what is the method of fraud they're hoping to avoid? That was never explained. I understand the worries of electronic voting and Florida-style disenfranchisement, but how could it possibly work in reverse?

3. Which tells me that military ballots are hitting the shredder |
|
at a very great rate. They don't dare let our soldiers vote, so they pre-emptively blame the Dems so people know who to accuse when the votes don't show up.

4. What's worse is that Buyer made that statement ... |
|
without substantiation and NOBODY on MSNBC called him on it. I'm tired of writing to these assholes who don't worry about truthfulness, but it looks like it's time for another....

6. They also had it in the blurb at the bottom of the screen. |

Even before Buyer came on. I really wish these media outlets would stop reporting on what "some people" say.

5. MSNBC is simply another "journalistic" running dog for the RNC |
|
And what they are doing with this piece is laying the groundwork to challenge the election if things don't go the 'Pugs way.
Simply another demonstration of how "liberal" the MSM is:eyes:

9. The Truth: Troops reporting "Forced" to vote * |
|
The word comes back from Iraq that troops are being told to vote for * or their vote won't be sent in.
That's been reported here on DU.
This is the RWs way of turning the truth on it's head and blaming the Dems for what the RW is doing.
Projection!
