boycott Bush-ass-kissing GENERAL MILLS
For those of you who love Cheerios, time to find a susbtitute brand. General Mills is refusing to pull advertising from Sinclair. Here is what they say:

"We believe one of the fundamental elements of our society is the freedom of the press. Companies such as ours, in our view, should not attempt to influence, control or pre-empt the content of news through the leverage of advertising sponsorship. To do so would undermine that fundamental freedom.

From time to time, any one of us as viewers may consider a particular news story to be inaccurate or imbalanced. News organizations do err. Judgment is not always well applied. One major news organization recently acknowledged that errors were made in stories relating to the current presidential election. When such errors occur, certainly a price is paid in terms of reputation. But errors and questionable judgment are an acceptable price to pay, in our view, to assure the presence of a free and independent media in our society."

They are calling Solen Honor "news." They are taking a dig at CBS. They can go fuck themselves. I am never buying a Cheerio again.

1. I have cheered my last O.
Clearly written by a right wing General Mills spokesperson. The hell with them.

4. Respond this way....
I believe that one of the fundamental elements of our society is market freedom and therefore I will choose to vote with my dollars and avoid any products with a General Mills label for engaging in partisan politics under the guise of fairness.

You just lost a lifelong customer.

What bull-shit. An error made in a news broadcast b/c of time constraints
is much different than airing a partisan program so close to an election.

7. thanks for posting this - we're done with General Mills at our house -
I go through massive amounts of groceries - have quite a few big eaters - but no more GM products will grace my shopping cart.

9. General Mills have always been big GOP donors
I stopped buying Cheerios months ago. There's tons of generic cereal brands on the market that are made from the same materials and are cheaper. General Mills can go to hell. And to even compare "Stolen Honor" to what happened with CBS, ah, it makes my blood boil.
