Sinclair Action Guide
Michael Powell, the head of the FCC, has unfortunately already said that the FCC can't (or won't) do anything about Sinclair airing the program. IT'S UP TO US NOW!! Sinclair can try to ignore us, but if their advertisers hear from enough upset citizens, they'll start thinking about spending their ad dollars elsewhere, and Sinclair can't ignore THEM!

I came across a great little website that has all the info needed to take action against Sinclair:

Sinclair Rapid-Action Guide

It has advice for contacting advertisers, and even has names of station sales managers! Please forward this site to anyone else that might be able to help in this effort.

1. You are way late out of the gate
Everyone here has been there, done that, emailed this, contributed to that...and bought the t-shirt. Search through some of the older threads, this is all over the place.

3. We need to try to get more people involved
Who did you contact? If you contacted Sinclair, it probably didn't have any much effect. They've started putting "if you would like to make further comments on this matter, you may do so at comments@sbgi.net" on their homepage and those of their affiliates. They're trying to deflect complaints away from their advertisers and affiliates, where they'll actually be heard and have an impact.

This site is new and it has advice on how to have a real impact and get your voice heard. Kudos for making an effort, but I'm just trying to help people out and keep this topic alive so we can get more people involved.

Now your same post it a new thread. The information is posted at the top of every page here in the yellow banner.

5. Keeping steady pressure on Sinclair
Yes, I posted the link on a bunch of Sinclair threads to keep them alive and because I think we're going to lose if we take the pressure off of Sinclair, or if we say "well I've done all I could do...". Since the FCC has said they're not going to do anything about it, its completely up to us. As a strategist I can tell you that taking action against Sinclair will have an extremely powerful effect on the numbers Nov. 2, probably more than anything else we could spend our time on, or afford to give to the DNC or whoever.
