If homosexuality is not a choice and I don't think it is, how about |
|
Bi-sexuals? Is there some latent homosexuality there or is it all experimentation and a total choice? Or who really gives a shit anyway?

4. Sexuality is a continuum, not an either/or |
|
And no, it's never a choice, not really, although some juveniles may experiment with forbidden fruit before they settle into being who they are.
In any case, it's really none of our business unless they're making a pass at us.

5. I think it's like this: |
|
people can be predisposed to be open to finding only males, only females, or both as sexually attractive, it's a spectrum. People who find both males and females sexually attractive, are, obviously, bisexual, but whether they pursue both kinds of relationships is up to them.

14. It's a real sexual orientation |
|
And unless someone is asking to have sex with you or marry you, it doesn't discussed much.
Some people are not attracted to anyone regardless of gender. There's a huge spectrum of human sexuality and libido strengths. Some people have too much, others don't have any at all.

7. Nothing "latent" about bi-sexuality |
|
Very simply put, sexuality is not black and white, anymore than people are just black and white. Bisexuality is another sexual preference, that is neither heterosexual nor homosexual, while it is both heterosexual and homosexual. There is little room for duality, dichotomy, or two-value logic in something as complex as sexuality.

8. bisexuals choose the person before the gender |
|
If one can fall and love and be attracted to both genders, then the "choice" is just a matter of who they fall in love with first I guess. Sounds more beautiful to me than homo/hetero sexuality.

10. You didn't get the memo in 4th grade? |
|
When I was ten, my entire class was asked to commit to the choice. We could choose hetrosexuality or homosexuality. We had to choose and sign off on it.
Along with each option, the consequences were given. I remember it said that if I chose homosexuality, I would most likely be facing a lifetime of discrimination, lost rights, and possible violence.
I just couldn't fathom why any of my classmates chose homosexuality, but they must have, since several have been homosexuals their entire lives.

it wasn't a choice, it's the way God made me. I think God made homosexuals too. Why would he hate what he created?
Bisexuals are just greedy though. :P
