Anyone here doing MoveOn PAC's Leave No Voter Behind? |
|
I just got a call from them asking me to attend a meeting on getting the vote out. Anyone have any experiences to share? I have already been cavassing under the Kerry campaign with Michigan Coordinated Campaign, but this is intriguing. It's right in my neighborhood. Thanks. :hi:

I went to the meeting, but couldn't make the time committment. My brother went with me and has been doing the canvassing. He said it is going rather well. They are targeting infrequent voters, in your neighborhood. Sounds like a great campaign.

They are organized and committed - we've been able to get quite a few volunteers to help out us out.

An afternoon of canvassing in the rain without a single person opening the door sent me running to the Michigan Coordinated Campaign to do phone banking. I love MoveOn, but my 2 days of door-to-door work with them convinced me that's not the best strategy (at least in my neighborhood - others may be more open).
