outsources job's out of the country and has off shore accounts, yet still receives government contracts with our tax dollars.

I will get the "Mother Jones" link on this story.

"The report takes issue with such logic, however, noting that Black & Decker closed its plant in Easton, displacing 1,200 employees, soon after the General Assembly passed the $30 million tax break for manufacturing.

Such incentives no longer "serve any positive purpose any longer (if they ever did)," the report says. "They are simply fiscal sweet kisses to rich individuals and big corporations -- most of them large campaign contributors."

5. Guess I won't be buying any more B&D
I'm getting pretty sick of these companies moving offshore. How many more jobs will be lost before someone gets a clue?

7. The funny part about this is...
The plant in Fayetteville got more work because the plant in Hampstead, MD was moved from production to distribution because wages in NC were lower. Now Fayettville is losing jobs to Mexico.

I wonder if Hampstead is one of the distribution plants being closed becuase they have had these rumors for years. I should call my friend who works there as a security guard.
