The real danger zone..Nov 3-Jan 20 |
|
It scares the hell out of me when I wonder about all the "land mines" and IEDs that will be left for Kerry, by this vindictive bunch of cretins..
Poppy set up Clinton with Somalia, and did it gleefully.. He knew that the "draftdodger" label had weakened Clinton in the eyes of the military, so it was NO ACCIDENT that Poppy chose that exact moment to send troops to Somalia...and let's not forget the rightwingers in congress who forced the "don't ask-don't tell" solution to the gays in the military issue.. The plan was to start his admin off with NO BREATHING ROOM..no chance to get a gentle start..
Bush, the Lesser is even MEANER than his daddy..and he cares little for the country that he has driven into the poorhouse, and endangered for the last 3 1/2 years, so it won't tweak his conscience on bit, if he sets Kerry up with an equally big MESS..
There's also the chance too, that if the margin of victory is small enough, Bush will just stall in the courts, hoping for another SCOTUS intervention..
the man has no shame, and for him..the end always justifies the means..
Traditionally, out-going presidents have deferred BIG stuff to the next administration, and concentrated on a smooth transition..That will NOT happen here..

1. I wish Clinton HADN'T deferred stuff. |

Like Richard Clarke's plan to move on bin Laden. 'Cause BushCo went out of their way to postpone it.
Almost as if. . . as if they DIDN'T want bin Laden killed.
Nah, that's - that's CRAZY talk.

The true election result will be a landslide for Kerry.
The mediatised and thus perceived result will be 'a tie" unless Kerry and democracy-lovers everywhere get out the truth.
Then there will be stalling in court, I'd hope not to the same degree. Didn't the SCOTUS rule last time that they accepted the case but would do so only ONCE?
All this will be going on after nov 2. The neocons will not relinquish power just like that. But even if they resort to true fascism, I don't think the american people will take it. They will take to the streets, and no amount of intimidation can win against the will of the people.
You may all have to come to grips with being called insurgents tho.

No, they merely ruled that their ruling in Bush v Gore would not set a precedent and so could not be used to have any bearing on any future cases.
Sorry, Fat Tony and the Scalias can re-play this card any time they like.

This is my greatest worry. The way I see it, this country is in for a rough ride regardless of who wins.
I really want Kerry to win - we need him to win - but I think our victory celebration will be short lived. Hell has no fury like the Bush Mafia scorned.
