F9/11 makes CNN's Morning crew frown. Faux lies about Kerry. |
|
This morning they had a segment on political movies. I came in at the very end. Roger Ebert was talking then they ended the piece with about 30 seconds of prime Bush scenes from F9/11.
When they came back to Bill and Soledad, they had the Biggest frowns on their faces. They were pouting because the "unbalanced" flick made their guy look bad.
Awwwwww. Poor babies. __________________________________
Oh, and on Faux they were desperately trying to make Kerry's hunting scenes akin to Dukakis' little tank ride. One of the crew thought that the photo op was stupid for Kerry because he hates guns, and insinuated that Kerry never hunts.
Newsflash, morons. John Kerry is a life long hunter. Terry McAuliffe said that in the next segment, but Failed to point out that FOX NEWS LIES!

1. Yeah, that John Kerry has never handled a gun before. |
|
Especially not while earning five medals in Vietnam. Nope nope.
The Republican Spin Machine can't let go of the usually effective cultural meme that Democrats are all gun-hating "girlie men". That if you have ever had an interest in peace, you must be a complete and total wuss. And why SHOULD they let go of it? It's effective, and a lot of their base buys into it.
That's one of the reasons Kerry bothers them.

2. One thing these Bozos overlook |

Kerry hunted the enemy in Viet Nam. Why would a little goose hunting be such a big deal? They hate it when their perceptions are disproved.

3. It shows that those pictures had an influence on people. They wouldn't |
|
be trying to spin them as something else if they hadn't had a significant impact on voter perception.

I've known a LOT of Vietnam Vets who never wanted to hunt again. Speaking for myself, it never again seemed like a 'sport' or pleasant pastime. I didn't even fire a rifle, handgun, or shotgun for 25 years afterwards. When you see what a rifle can do to human beings, it doesn't seem like such a nifty thing to do anymore. I qualified as 'expert' in three weapons and still score well on the range. It's a whole 'nother thing, now.

After my little USMC "hunting trip" in Vietnam, I've never had the desire to go hunting (or camping) again. I have long maintained that the majority of our gun nut population are non-combatent type guys living in a childish fantasy world.

14. It is understandable the emotions this evokes |

What horrors people endue for good or bad.
Kerry went in did his duty and Bushbots attack him as unpatriotic. He does a little campaigning and they cry foul because a life long hunter shouldn't be out hunting.
They are sick!

This, of course, is what I was saying yesterday in a thread that was later locked. Deservedly or not, you could just *SEE* the photos of Kerry getting spun in this fashion, and his campaign should have known better!

Moore showed them up for the hack "reporters" they are. Moore was doing their job, for cripes sake.

I was looking for sports center, and had to stop. I yelled something and moved on down the line.

Like he did 35 years ago, and Stupidhead and Crashcart don't have anything comparable in their backgrounds.
