dickie did a valuable proof of concept. that could have been malicious script as opposed to a harmless popup. Also, the cat picture test thread I posted shows that you could put ANYTHING there.
this is scary stuff. i hope DU is on top of this now

Tell me how many websites you visit that don't use javascripting of some sort. The title line is so limited in length that it would be extremely difficult to write anything that was remotely malicious. If your browser is already susceptible to minor exploits, you are already in big trouble. Like I said, there is nothing to panic about.
Besides that, the admin has already begun filtering the title field...
