Vancouver mosque leader preaches killing Jews

The leader of a mosque in Vancouver, Canada, has been found to be preaching for the killing of Jews.

Mosque leader Younus Kathradra spoke of killing Jews soon after the assassination of Hamas leader Sheikh Ahmed Yassin in the spring.

A recording of his speech was posted on the mosque's Web site. In it Kathradra says, "We are dealing with a people ... the brothers of the monkeys and the swine ... whose treachery is well known. We should all remember ... that these are people who will never keep their word," he was quoted on CBS News as saying.

Kathradra also said in his sermon that the Koran views Jews as a treacherous people.

20. Bull! The inclusion of sharia to settle disputes does NOT supersede

Canadian law. We also have a First Nations alternate dispute mechanism that uses traditional First nations methodology which, also, does NOT supersede federal law.

Both Muslim and Jewish organizations have condemned this cleric. In Canada, for the most part, Muslims and Jews are not in conflict. This cleric is a radical minority and will be investigated under Canada's hate laws.

The US is pro-Israel. That alone paints a big neon pink target (Target logo, what the hell) on us. Others have noticed and they all don't live in the ME when they call us monkeys and pigs. (and it's not just the Jews, it's all of us.)

We're all monkeys, both sides ran by 'people' (and I use the term loosely) who are so rigid and mindlessly fanatical that they would wantonly prefer violence and bloodshed, and recruit others equally rigid (Abu Gharib proves my point rather eloquently, sadly...).

Nothing will change until the larger meddlesome entity (the US) makes a BIG step to show that it's grown up and no longer takes petty sides. (hah, that'll happen after snowballs stop melting in Hell)

Even then, the ME has been volatile for centuries. Perhaps there is no viable solution?

Muslims don't keep their word and never will, says we. We then need to look in the mirror while we say that. We are fundamentally no different.

in which he preaches that islam as a whole is out to kill xtians and Jews and that we have to kill them before they kill us. It seems to be on mostly in the deep south. I hear it on rural Louisiana stations. Several other televangelists and radiovangelists preach similar messages and have guests on 'explaining' how muslims are all out to convert xtian s to islam 'at the point of a sword' and that we must kill them before they kill us.

You may live in a more enlightened area of the country. Try driving through the deep dark red states sometime with your radio on FM in the lower band numbers.

Canada has hate crime laws and this individual will be investigated under those laws as have been those who have been anti-gay, etc.
