Bush Cheney supporter yelled at us yesterday

Yesterday we were cruising south on a 3 lane highway and had switched to the off ramp. At that point, this red truck goes speeding past the far lane-the furthest away from us-and this guy yells out,"BUSH CHENEY!"

We all burst out laughing for a couple of reasons.

1. He had to have been driving behind us at some point to see the "Kerry/Edwards" sticker on the back but he didn't honk or do anything when he was within close range.
2. He switched over to the lane furthest away from us and it was obvious that he had hit the gas when he was yelling because he was going around 75 mph while everyone else was going around 60 mph.
3. He waited until he saw us getting into the off ramp-and therefore, we would not be able to chase or confront him- before he made his move.

I'm sure he was telling his repug friends about "confronting" some Kerry supporters when, in fact, his actions were that of a coward. Typical, wouldn't you say?

5. I had the same thing happen to me too

They were on my left on the freeway, a little behind me, for a long time. Then they sped up and honked and gave us the finger. We were laughing our asses off and gave them the peace sign. They sped away. But I used to get flipped off at least five times a week with my Gore sticker. Now I usually get thumbs up with my Kerry sticker. It's so cool.

They confront my wife when she drives our car with Kerry stickers.
But I don't hear a peep, they are to afraid to even look at me when I'm driving it.

7. Same thing happend to me a week or two ago

A car load of Teens went around me on I-75 and yelled the same shit and called me a loser. The girl in the back leaned almost all the way out the window yelling BC yeah! woohoo yeah (like the girls gone wild videos) and returned into the car, sped up and cut in front of me immeadiatly.

So I proceed to not sayanything or even look at them, I just ride thier bumper.

they pass other vehicles and try to lose me, but I kept on them, finally about 20 miles into it, they start looking back at me on a regular basis, with scared looks. They are obviously freaking out in the car so the next exit they make a quick lane change right off the interstate and stop. as I am going by I look over and smile, and give them a L for looser on my forhead.


I scared them, bunch of hatriots.

8. I always just smile and wave

They never really know how to react to that. I smile and wave and then I ignore them and go about my business. Confuses the hell out of 'em.

11. yeah, from the responses, this guy was typical

You know, it's one thing for someone to engage you face to face or even side by side in a car; but it sounds like most of everyone else's experiences are simliar to mine. Especially about having your wife accosted while you are able to drive in relative peace.

I'm not sure how I would react if one of these people were to try and confront me in person. I can imagine one of these people provoking a fight and then filing charges against the person who was only engagin in self defense.
