If you witness Republican operatives challenging voters.... |
|
Then be a man and demand that poll watcher's creditials and inform him that you are going to plaster his name all over the city and internet and possibly file a lawsuit against him for being in the wrong and trying to subvert democracy.
I think we need to let these fuckers know that if they intend to harass voters that we will go out of our way their life a living hell (legally).

Here in NM, there are official poll workers, including a roming official who makes sure no politicking is going on while people are standing in line. I don'tknow how things are in other states, but the poll officials would be the ones to tell. Point out the individual, describe what was said, and find a witness. You can and should get this scum arrested for this stuff if they cross the line beyond watching to actively trying to influence anyone's vote.
That cuts both ways, of course. Anyone interfering with voters standing in line from either party should face arrest. Period.
The poll workers are there to verify voters. Let them do their jobs

What is it? I'll be working the polls as an election judge and I most certainly will keep a watch out for anything that's suspect.

Make sure they PROVE beyond a shadow of a doubt that they are who they say they are. Do NOT give any information to somebody standing outside of the polling area. Do NOT give any information until you are well within site of the polling staff.
If you see someone harassing someone anywhere near the polls--check credentials. If they cannot provide them, call the police or FBI immediately. Do not discuss it with them, do not argue. We are NOT going to take this shit this year.
Tampering with an election is a FELONY!!!! During a time of war, it should be considered treason, punishable by death. I cannot think of anything more anti-American than stripping someone of his or her most basic right as a citizen.

5. Agreed...I'm am just in the kinda of mood to raise some hell. |
|
Also be sure to be EXTREMELY VOCAL and put that person completely on the defensive.
Start out being loud and make sure everyone in the polling place knows the name of that person and what he/she is trying to do.
