Some 350 tons of high explosives (RDX and HMX), which were under IAEA seal while Saddam was in power, were looted during the early days of the US occupation. Like so much else, it was just left unguarded.

I'm not sure what you mean, but this is nuclear material that's been under IAEA seal for years and years. They've inspected it every single year and it's always been intact. Until the invasion. I'm sure most of us knew in April 2003 they hadn't guarded these facilities, but I guess it coming out now is good too. It is definitely NOT Bush's WMD and we don't want to let the right become convinced it is.

I'm glad the press finally seems to be making something out of this heinous neglect, but it isn't a surprise.
