This story:
http://www.onnnews.com/Global/story.asp?S=2496369
"Rumsfeld suggests Iraq explosives were moved before invasion "

is lined up solid on google right now dated between 10 and 20 minutes ago. About 50 news outlets are running with it.

Maybe it's a good thing, if Saturday papers do justice to what David Kay said tonight on CNN and the video in general.

I'm just confused as to why so many outlets would have made a decision to go with a story which is so plainly wrong and doesn't contain any of the more recent information which demonstrates Rummy is wrong.

The last thing I would want a swing voter reading is that Rummy thinks it's likely the stuff was moved before the invasion...given that there's no counterpoints in the story.

1. Of course they were moved, and Rummy knows where.
They're in the area around Tikrit and Baghdad and east, west, south and north somewhat.

But that is EXACTLY what Karl Rove wants.

3. Rove controls the press? God I hope not.
I'm thinking it's just more media laziness and/or stupidity.
