I see this all the time on FR and I've heard it on angry white man radio.

The chutzpa - it's simply astounding.

Or maybe it's just delusion.

1. If you are doing something wrong...
... accuse your opponent of it first, and it will look like he is simply trying to slide out of your allegation when he accuses you of what you are actually doing.

6. Time-tested methods
When the commies invaded a country, they called people trying to defend themselves "aggressors".

4. What THEY do, they ACCUSE others of doing..
Edited on Fri Oct-29-04 12:32 AM by SoCalDem
They practice inocculation..That way when THEIR shifty goings on are exposed, they say. "No way, remember WE were the ones who saw it at .... ...'they' are just trying to get back at us"..

The Lawsuit of the 2K mess was Bush v Gore....not Gore v Bush

5. It is a tactic they have used before

thus the misnomer "liberal media".

Only truly liberal media I have seen is FSTV and LINK programs. If mainstream media don't adopt the right wing propoganda, they are labeled liberal, when truly they are centrist at best.

7. This is because the current crop of Repubs
can't utter a single honest word. They believe in nothing but their Party. Time and again they have argued against their own country's ideals, it's decorated veterans, truth, law, and anything else. This is because they are so insecure that they cannot countenance being wrong about anything.

9. That's because they refuse to believe...
That the original count was stolen for their guy in the first place, through suppressed votes, faulty ballots, and the counting of illegally late absentee military ballots.

But most of all, it was stolen by a party hack at Faux News, who called the election for Shrub, after all the exit polls indicated Gore would win with a pretty reasonable lead.

After that, ShrubCo released the flying monkeys... and the rest was a SCOTUS tragedy waiting to happen.

11. It's called 'Projection'

...A psychological defense mechanism where someone projects all of thier negative characteristics on others.(ex. the GOP stole the 2000 election and feel guilty.Thier unconscious mind does not want any negative emotions so instead of admitting they stole the election, they say the Democrats stole it.)
Thats just one case GOP suffers from this as they try to blame Democrats for everything the GOP is guilty of.
