How Will You Keep Up With The Election?
I think the last time around we had CNN on the tube most of the time but this year I'm not sure how I'll keep up. I don't know how, or what, the C-Span or PBS coverage will be but I might give the a try. I no longer feel at all comfortable with the reporting on CNN. I guess I'll have a radio set to NPR and be here reading too of course.

I had been talking with a friend and we thought we might get together for the evening, but we both have to work Wednesday and its a good hour drive between our homes on a night that is sure to go late.

How do you intend to spend Tuesday evening, other than glued to the .....

2. Definitely glued
to the TV as long as I can last. Anything but Fox. I am not sure but probably flipping channels between the major cable outlets.

4. We're having a Kerry/Edwards CELEBRATION party!
A few friends will probably even stay over so we can stay up into the wee morning hours (unless it's called early in the evening). We'll probably flip back and forth between channels - although it depends on who's commentating on each - if Judy Woodruff is on CNN, we won't be spending much time on that channel. Probably mostly MSNBC, especially if Ron Reagan is on.

9. I will follow it on NPR, and here on DU...
In the last few month, I've found that I simply cannot tolerate any TV network or cable-news coverage of political matters. I feel my blood-pressure rising, my stomach twisting into knots, etc. It's just bad medicine.

I have a feeling that DU will be **very** busy that night!

10. Probably keep flipping channels
Interested in a few local races as well as the big one(s), so I have to check out the locals from time to time. The Iowa first district race is a big one here, as we want Nussle out and Gluba may be able to pull off a longshot upset. Iowa's second district may bear watching too, as polls apparently have Franker close to Leach, who is a republican a lot of Dems (including me) actually like. If those two races turn out in favor of Messrs Gluba and Franker, then it may be an unprecedented night for Democrats nationwide.
