I was stationed at Ft Polk, (twice!).
My heart and prayers go out to those that knew these people, as well as to those who didn't, but still care. :cry: :hug:
My father lost his father in 1943, and was given leave to attend the funeral. They sent him out on a tug to catch up to the ship that was taking his unit to Europe. I can relate to what this soldier is feeling as he comes home to this tragedy.
Now... the admin says we may be in Iraq for decades; I say, we're there till the next inauguaration and this bastard is gone.
God must love the downtrodden....He made so many of us.
