Neoconservatives from Pat Buchanan |
|
I'm enjoying his book...Where the Right Went Wrong, although I disagree with some of his traditional conservative beliefs.
This is what he says about neocons:
pg. 58
"But what neoconservatives are about is the antithesis of strategy. They do not want to narrow America's list of enemies to those who attack us. They want to broaden the theater of war and multiply our enemies, to escalate 'the Fireman's War' into a war for American hegemony."
(Kerry should talk to Pat when Kerry's elected.)

Apparently, from what I read on DU, he's been one of the biggest Bush whores in the media.

2. I used to call him Puke Cannon |
|
but he does know stuff that we should know... This fissure between the traditional conservatives and neocons is there and should be used by Dems. He does have an interesting point of view based on history....he's still a Bush whore, but whatever happens in this election... the war between neoncons and traditional conservatives will fire up right after Nov. 2. I think many traditional conservatives won't be voting for Bush this time just to get rid of him and his neocon "strategerists" and let Kerry clean up the mess while they restructure their party.
