Better than armbands - let's wear black ribbons
Black ribbons have been worn as the symbol of anarchy to promote free speech on the Internet (a response to the desire to capitalize on the Internet and restrict access). This has just about died out.
Why don't we adopt the black ribbon as a symbol of our pain and anger and our solidarity against what we perceive as a an unjust election result?
Besides; I don't know how to make an armband and would rather wear a ribbon (LOL)

1. What about black ribbons like the "support our troops" ribbons?
Or the ones with the American flags on them?

4. Yeah! I would add a black one to the other magnetic ones on my
vehicle. Great idea.

11. I love your design, just bought a baseball jersey of it.
Thanks!!!

I've been looking for something that doesn't scream "Democrat", because I'm not a confrontational person and I get intimidated pretty darn easily. This one is slightly enigmatic but becomes pretty clear when you think about it. Love it. :)

6. I have a friend whose family makes these black buttons
with the name of each soldier, the city and state from which the soldier came, and the date s/he died. Nothing else, but it is very obvious what it's about.

They are giving them away. I wear one on just about anything I'm wearing. Right in the front, kind of in the middle so people have to read it.

Today I bought some stickers that say "Bush Kills" from BrainBurger. I will find appropriate places to place them.

9. Uzis are still banned from import
And the other former so-called "assault weapons" were never actually banned.

I think you should buy any kind of gun you legally can, but only if you really want to and can accept the responsibility for it.

13. Don't get mad - get even - support only progressive businesses and
do not purchase anything whatsoever from a Bush supporter unless you have to!

12. red, wht and blue ribbon - worn upside down
It could even be a r,w&b ribbon with a black one. Although I love the idea of an braclet, this is something everyone could do as soon as it was decided on.

14. At the moment I am dressed entirely in black
right down to my socks and shoes. I am in a volatile mood and I look like hell because I haven't been able to sleep since the election was called.

So far not a single person here at school has said a word to me about the election. I think they get the message.
