Is there a person out there can bring us toward the center with a "rural" flavor. Example: Bill Clinton
John Edwards would have been the man... but Kerry picked him so he had to run.
Let's face it, Hilary ain't gonna win. Any other alternatives?

Gov. Rendell, Sen. Bayh (don't want to compromise with the DLC, but we may need to), Gov. Richardson (may be too blue state-ish)

Two "L"'s. Hey, if she wants and can win the primary, I'd be happy to support her. It would piss the Right off to no end....more the reason to go with her.

4. I don't think we need to go to the center. |
|
But that is just my humble opinion.

Anybody but Hillary. She's a waste of time...
Problem is there is no significant Democratic figure. Edwards? Nothing much there, doesn't even have a job. Obama? Bit short on experience..
Governors? Vlasic(sp?) from Iowa? Well at least he's from the heartland...

7. If Edwards can run after 6 years... |
|
why not BARACK OBAMA after four?
he reminds me of a young, uncomprimised Mario Cuomo, he has vision, automatic stature. hey, we've lost the south; you don't thinl he'd bring in one or two percent of the vote that sat this out? he'd generate a lot of negative (and positive) votes in the South, but he'd make the diff in Nevada, NM, maybe Virginia.
just a dream some of us had.

9. Nobody is going to win honestly until we fix our election system. |

That is so obvious I can't believe I am posting this.

10. I totally agree with you... |
|
the number one issue we should be focused on is not religion, lifestyle choices, the economy or war... if we do not address the single most important issue of voter fraud and intimidation, everything else is an exercise in futility... if a tire's flat you can't get very far... IMO :hi:

13. Voter fraud, yes but, |
|
there are many other problems. With this administrations record, this election shouldn't have been close enough to steal. If opinion polls show a 20 point spread, an election is impossible to steal.

I don't even care for him as New Mexico Gov... especially not the Pres!
If he is it I would vote for him but not do any work.
