Interesting quote from Allawi on the Fallujah attack...
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/6403689/

Interim Prime Minister Ayad Allawi told reporters in Baghdad on Monday that he had given the go-ahead for the assault.

“I have reached the belief that I have no other choice but to resort to extreme measures to protect the Iraqi people from these killers and to liberate the residents of Fallujah so they can return to their homes,” he told a news conference.

Allawi later visited Iraqi troops at the main U.S. base near Fallujah, telling them that “your job is to arrest the killers but if you kill them then let it be.”

“May they go to hell,” shouted the soldiers. “To hell they will go,” Allawi replied.

1. He wants to let the Iraqi return to their homes?
Will there be anything left standing by the time we are done?

Christ, this really is a crusade.

4. Well, he did valiantly liberate the hospital.
"May they go without basic humanitarian medical services," shouted the troops.

8. "We had to burn the village in order to save it." ....again.
The Germans destroyed Lidice in order to save it from "terrorists". They also destroyed Oradour(sp?) in France to save it.
They destroyed thousands of villages in Poland, Russia, Ukraine, Belorus, in order to save them from the partisans (terrorists).

We destroyed hospitals, schools, villages, all over Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, in order to save them from assorted "terrorists".

The Germans killed millions to protect themselves.

We have done the same and are continuing the slaughter...to no avail.

Footnote: The British marched into Lexington and Concord to destroy the weapons caches of....what would now would be called "terrorists".

They never learn.
