A Simpler Sign of Solidarity - Black Bracelet Left Wrist
Edited on Mon Nov-08-04 07:38 PM by Stephanie

That's it. Some people are making bracelets and that's great for as many people as can order them.

But we can all, men and women, wear a Black Bracelet on our Left Wrist, of some kind. Whatever kind you choose. Metal or leather or thread or whatever.

A Black Bracelet on the Left Wrist - a sign of Solidarity, for Truth and Justice.

1. Good idea
but is there a progressive organization making these as a fundraiser? I'd be glad to donate.

Does anyone know where I can get the black ribbon magnet for the car?

4. go to this website for a black bracelet!
http://www.notmecampaign.com/

On November 2, 2004, over 59 million Americans
voted for him...but NOT ME!

* Over 59 million Americans voted to retain a President who was quoted as saying that Osama bin Laden (the mastermind behind the deaths of over 3000 people) is "not important"...but NOT ME!

* Over 59 million Americans voted to approve the slaughter of American soldiers and innocent Iraqi men, women, and children over nonexistent weapons of mass destruction...but NOT ME!

* Over 59 million Americans voted to approve the second class citizenship of Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgender Americans...but NOT ME!

* Over 59 million Americans voted to re-elect a President with the worst job loss record since Herbert Hoover and the worst budget deficit in history...but NOT ME!

What can I do?

Order your "NOT ME!" bracelet today to protest the disastrous foreign and domestic policies of an egotistical, self -centered man who has proceeded to embarrass the United States on the world stage. By proudly displaying your "NOT ME!" bracelet we can stand together to tell the world that some people in the United States may have fallen for his lies and deceit, but NOT ME!

The bracelet is made of molded silicon and black in color with the words, "NOT ME!" debossed on the silicon material.

PRICE: $5.00/ea + $0.50 shipping/handling

---------

I am not associated with this website -- other than having ordered a few and everyone on my Xmas list will get one for Xmas.

8. Already wearing mine.
Just a black cord for now, something a little more durable soon. I'm also putting any flag-red clothing I have in the back of the closet for the forseeable future.

10.  Black Bracelets - You can go to the Mall...
At Claire's and Icing they have these black rubber bracelets (they also have other colors) -- but you can purchase little silver letters that slide on the bracelets (they have the whole alphabet)!

I had bought a matching set for myself and my daughter with our names, but now I'm going back to get the letters that spell NOT ME

11. I knitted mine
Just a simple black cuff from some leftover wool.

The rubber Not Me! bracelets are cool, and I'll probably order one. However, I also like that many are making their own black bracelets. A black leather thong, a black ribbon, a string of black beads, a leather or cloth cuff -- it's sort of organic, and in a way, I think people will notice more if everyone does their own thing.

18. Kick - I like this idea: the "NOT ME" bracelet
This should be spread far and wide.

And there should be some way to put it on your car - maybe just a black sticker. Maybe something on that black sticker? There must be some way to translate this to a bumpersticker as well as wearing the bracelet. Maybe w/ "2004" upside down on the sticker? I dunno..

Black bracelet - good idea.

Let's push it.
