3. The biggest coverup is ...
The biggest coverup has been perpetrated by the vendors who say that their machines are accurate and reliable when they know they aren't and when they come out in news articles and say there's never been a major problem when there are at least 70 machine malfunctions reported thus far in the 2004 elections, from eating 4,500 in Carteret County NC to countin up to 32,000 and then counting backwards in Guilford County, NC and Broward County, FL (ES&S Unity 2.2). The vendors knew about this before this election and did not spread the word, and they admitted it.

And the Independent Testing Authorities, who have given their stamp of approval that has malfunctioned all over the country for years.

All this, and the vendors release statements congratulating themselves for doing a good job and saying there hasn't been any problems with their equipment.

(Documented at http://www.votersunite.org/electionsproblems.asp)
