Faith Based Fruitcakes
I’ve been losing weight the past week because I vomit every time I hear some conservative crackpot say, “the Democrats must respect people of faith.” I’m so glad the “Christian Right” has a monopoly on “faith” and can light the way for the rest of us soulless, Godless bastards.

We’re all children of God and define our faith on our own terms. People who know how to think rationally understand this. There is no single “faith” that is superior to another.

These right-wing Evangelicals high-jacked the election with their fundamentalist beliefs that defy common sense. Abortion is murder, but killing 100,000 Iraqi civilians based on false information is ok? Homosexuality is a sin, but the 450 animal species around the world who have same gender sex don’t know any better? Justice is served by the death penalty, even though DNA testing so far has shown that 20% of the people on death row are innocent? And by the way, if Jesus Christ was crucified today, he would be among that 20% of the innocent people who received capitol punishment.

When will the Constitution and the people who are sane prevail again over the Bible and the religious extremists?

1. I feel the same way! I had church people come to my door
last weekend. Boy! Did they come to the wrong house to try to sell some type of crap so they could teach "family values and morals" to children. When I heard those words I kinda lost it. (Usually I'm quite nice, but to be fair I was also P.M.S.) I told them that I don't like family values and morals anymore and that in fact I don't think I have any. I told them to go find Bush supporters. Have a nice Day. You should of seen there faces. It must of looked quite strange because my one and three year old were hanging on my legs and I look like a typical mom who lives in a "Beaver Cleaver" neighborhood. Opps! I guess I sinned!
