I'm really addicted to the "Sorry Everyboody" site.
http://www.sorryeverybody.com/

Is it just me? There's something so ... poignant, touching, real about it.

Not to mention, there are a lot of very beautiful dem women on there. Sorry, I couldn't resist that. I don't mean to negate what I said above.

2. I am too!
I kept going back to that site last night while I would be surfing the net... it is so real and comforting. The pictures are from all walks of life- animals, kids, couples (both straight and gay)...

The "other" one... blech.

3. I had seen it when there were about 10 pictures on it,
and then when I showed it to my son yesterday, I couldn't BELIEVE how many people had added photos! :wow:

4. I've made it through the first 100 pages
It is a very moving site. I have to stop every few pages or I will start crying again.

7. What gets me crying are the replies from the rest of the world.
Saying "We know you tried, we still love you". I can't see one of those without getting all teary.

11. I think it says something about community.
We don't have it in this country and we desparately need it. We should find ways to get together and just hang out together.

For years and years I played in bands, and the best part of it was just the hanging out, the going out to eat at 4:00 in the morning after a gig. The long trips in the van to gigs. Churches offer this kind of fellowship. That's probably the only reason they succeeded as an institution. We need that in secular society.

Reach out to your fellow dems. Wear something that identifies you as a dem and reach out. We all need each other right now.

16. They're putting a lot more pictures on a page
and using thumbnails now. They've got like 3600 pics so far and I think they're just trying to manage it all. But I've totally lost my place now!

The site is wonderful and, while I'm so proud of us (and look how different we all are!), I'm so grateful to the international response.

17. Rolling over, Denying we won....something pathetic, abject, sad
I am not surprised it invited aggressive retort from the nutz. Like a kick me sign on our butt.

18. I'm on that web site and I'm not denying anything
I'm apologizing for the fact that regardless of who got the most votes, this monster is still going to be in charge and we, as a country, are going to pursue an aggressive and violent policy against the world. I just wanted to let some of the folks out there that we are going to kill know that some of us tried and, as my note among many suggests, are still trying.

"Pathetic, abject, and sad". Christ, that's what the freepers call me, too.
