I can STILL not get over the fact that my senatorial district elected a man widely believed to have Alzheimer's disease (or possibly Dimentia), OVER A DOCTOR.

Granted, it was still a small margin, but 50% of Kentuckians that voted would rather a Baseball player with Alzheimers over a DOCTOR, just due to the fact that Bunning is the Republican candidate. That's how insane people here all. A lot of it has to do with Straight Ticket Voting...Forget what the candidates stand for, forget that a candidate may be mentally of their minds, as long as they're Republican.

That's Kentucky for ya.
