I live in TX, and a week before the election...
I started getting FAUX news with my DISH network package.. and now, one week after the election, I don't get FAUX anymore..

anyone else experience this?

Someone told me that FAUX is included in the basic package, but why didn't I get it prior to the week before the election, or now?

1. And you are complaining?
Why? I wish they would delete it from my cable network.

but I am just wondering if this is another way they are trying indoctrinate/influence people with their RW bullcrap right before the election.. and now the election is over, the indoctrination is no longer necessary?!

Am I making sense?

6. yes, you are. I think its a good point. I would wonder the same
thing myself. Call the cable co. and find out what's up. Be nice, pick someone's brain, and then find out who the owners of your local etc. etc. and share the results.

I am happy not to pay for that crap.

They enable channels as teasers from time to time.

9. they did that to tease you...
=they often will give you channels for a weekend or so to tease you into getting the next upgrade package...they did that for MSNBC and FOX for me for the debates and the election....then turned it off...

some times it is HBO, often for STARZ....every now and then check your 'all subscribed' list to see if any have changed from red to 'available'

10. I understand the teasing part...
but that's usually only for a single weekend.. not for two whole weeks.. I just find that a little excessive. Almost like they were trying to convince/sway the undecideds to their evil side or something.

13. Someone has been playing around with your settings
(My SO installs Dish Network)...Faux doesn't go "off and on", nor does any other channel). Check your manual, it'll show you how to disable or enable it. I forget the chan number right now...

14. Thanks, I'll look it up...
but it's just my roommate and me here in my apmt, so unless someone on the outside is messing with it, I don't see who else would do it.. My roomie is a Kerry supporter, so I know he won't mess with it for sure!
