Colin Powell's old neighborhood holds little respect for him.
Another lifetime of credibility and achievement plowed under in the wake of a runaway Bushdozer.
But when you sleep with dogs....

"He had an opportunity to change the world, and he didn't take it," Rivera said. "Now we are hated by people all over the world. Sure he was outnumbered by more powerful voices in the cabinet, but still ..."

for his beliefs.

But I would not be too quick to judge, for I do not know myself what I would have done in his stead.

But I'm not a seasoned soldier.

Why do we need a professional class of pundits and opinion makers when average people are perfectly capable of understanding how the world works?

I'd take the bluntness of three guys in a barber shop over any millionaire op-ed columnist any day of the week.
