I've been grinding my teeth all day...I cant stand it any more!!! i really need a break from all of this..no T.V, no Blogs, NO News!!! ARGGG :grr:

2. Rent a movie and tune out the news.
That's the way I've been making it the past 2 weeks. It looks like the movie rental store and I will be on first name basis by Nov 2008.

8. anger is good, up to a point.
all this information and no action to respond with, eh? well, turn the crap off, it's only gonna get worse, and you know it, and go make plans. plans to spare your family for the impending doom.

be it managing money accounts differently, buying gardening supplies to supplement your grocery bills, do some research into smart 'blue' shopping for the holidays, whatever. just get out there and do something that reinvigorates you with a sense of some control. giving into escapism or sitting in impotent rage is still the same thing, a waste of time in an increasingly hostile world. you now have precious hours to prepare, don't waste it sitting there with hot tears of rage. just do it :insert nike swoosh here:

10. I'm only 38 and my blood pressure has gone up so high in the last several
weeks (as high as 180/110) that I have had to start taking blood pressure medication. I know I should stop watching the news...but I keep thinking I will feel better if I just hear news of a recount or something. I just said to my friend today that I wish there was an "ignorance" pill that I could take, I think I would probably be so much happier than I am now.....if I could just not know.

15. Thats funny....
My whole life my BP has been low....like 80/60. When I was having symptoms I actually thought it was because my BP was too low and went to the Drs., then they told me it was so high. I really need to start meditating again...I just can't seem to quiet my mind for more than a second....I know I need to just try harder, stop watching the news, start meditating again, and start reading more. I need to calm down.

13. The Tom Delay thing really pissed me of.
The other stuff was expected, but Tom Delay not only refusing to do the right thing and step down, but going the extra mile and trying to change the same rule that he used to lambaste the senate democrats for far lesser issues, is really getting my blood pressure up. It is unfortunately indicative, that the Republicans now consider themselves wholly above the law. What will REALLY get me going, is if that weak kneed John Kerry does not fucking do something about this. If he wants any real chance of running in 2008, he had better do something to stop the rape and pillage of our country RIGHT THE FUCK NOW.

That and that worthless lump of flesh Dickhead Murphy trying to stop Donna Frye from taking the office that she won fair and square...

14. Anger is a gift
Use it well. Just don't fly off the handle and invade any middle eastern countries, causing a civil war, and global chaos. Write a firey limerick instead.

17. I can't watch cable news.
I was channel surfing and paused for a moment on CNN as they were covering the ceremonies at the Clinton library. There was Miles O'Brien showing his anti-Clinton bias so I just moved along. It's disgusting and until the Democrats get unbiased news coverage, they will have great difficulty winning national elections. Many of the Clinton haters couldn't even put their hatred aside for even one day.
