4. He is preparing to spend eternity in Hell
There's lots of stuff to take care of when you are soon to spend all of eternity in the lake of fire. That's the price you pay when you pardon Richard Nixon.

7. Boy, you've got that right!
I blame Ford for all of the dominoes that have fallen on American citizens as a result of his "ending the long national nightmare" crap (the pardoning of Nixon).

9. And cover up the JFK assasination conspiracy. Warren Commission.
Ford and Arlen Spector are the last living members of that whitewash.
Spector was a gopher for the WC and came up with the quick-fix "magic bullet" theory.

12. LOL
I didn't think anyone knew about Rancho Mirage! I was born and raised there...they really like that "playground of presidents" slogan, but "Playground of rich Republican assholes" would be more fitting. God, how I despise that "city"

10. Ummm, he was at the 9-11 memorial service,
and several more recent events. He looked fine. Better than Carter. Is he really ill, or just thr flu?? (though at 91 that can be fatal!)

14. Didn't he have a stroke either in 2002 or 2000?
Edited on Thu Nov-18-04 07:29 PM by Ilsa
I remember someone interviewed him, and his speech was off and he looked bad.

I wonder what Poppy's excuse is for looking like he's returned from the dead? His face looks strange. His voice is weird. His left eye looks paralyzed. But I haven't heard anything about him having a stroke or TIA's.
