Through the looking glass.
While I did what I could to campaign for and promote democratic candidates this year, I can't help but think that all was really lost in 2000. Now that the neocons have control of the executive, legislative and judicial branches, how can there ever be an effective counterbalance to neocon rule now that we've seen their willingness to rewrite laws as needed to protect their own as needed, and to redistrict and manipulate elections? What can be done?
