My local taxes have increased! But I'm happy!
I assume that my total tax bill is about the same after Federal and state tax cuts. Maybe I'm paying a little more.

Why am I happy? I'm happy because my Minnesota tax money is being used for my schools, my parks and playgrounds, my streets and my police and fire. I'm tired of seeing Minnesota get less of the Federal tax dollar and Mississippi getting more.

Further, I'm glad that "Red Minnesota" has to fund their own parks and schools. Let them squirm. My grandchildren and my neighborhood kids will get their great education.

I used to believe that I paid taxes for the advancement of our society, but the Republicans taught me the real way taxes should work. Sorry Reds.
