Time to hold Clear Channel accountable for lying about billboard!
The fact that many of you contacted the Clear Channel company asking if they had posted the "Bush is our leader." sign and then they lied about, disturbs me. Clear Channel tries to portray themselves as News, but they are all lies and all Republicanazi propaganda. If you ask me, it is sad that we have to go the Internet in this country to get the truth. I hope that whoever contactd Clear Channel and was lied to about the billboard writes down who they spoke to and holds this company accountable. We need a clear explanation for why we were lied to. And if you ask me, we were not just lied to about the billboard, but about the election results as well (this vote was rigged)! Let's please inform the Media (Olberman, CBS, etc.) about this recent incident. Thank you all!:

1. Where is this billboard?
It's clearly a different camera angle than the other I've seen. But where does it stand?

3. Excellent, Think sign was located
on I-4 headed into Orlando. The DUer davhill was the one that took the photo, so you might have to ask him. Makes me so mad that Clear Channel would flat out lie to people about the billboard--makes me sick. I hope Olberman hears about this one!

4. You say that it is sad we have to go to the Internet for news
but the real sadness will start in earnest when this last vestige of freedom is eliminated.May I suggest that if you are capable of seeing reality, please use the Internet to try to wake up as many people as you can before you CAN'T. GOOD LUCK PEOPLE!

7. Sorry, don't really understand your beef...
Clear Channel, I assume, owns the billboard.

Clear Channel supports Shrub (why? - I dunno)

The text across the bottom seems to indicate this is Clear Channel's "opinion".

I think the decision makers at Clear Channel can do what they want with their billboards.

9. When questioned about them, they said they did not exist
They lied to DUers and said there were no such billboards and they had nothing to do with them. The fact that they are a news organization and just openly lie about something like a billboard is disturbing. If they lie about that, then what else will they lie about?

18. I wasn't aware of the denials of existence...
...but it looks real and it looks like Clear Channel endorsed it.

19. How would they have used my tax dollars?
Edited on Mon Nov-22-04 05:49 PM by bossfish
I don't get that.

<edit> I think I get it now, they could deduct the expense of the billboard as a PSA?

12. It's their way to say that * is prez and we all must support him.
I say that Clear Channel be boycotted. As if their Kerry smearing before the election wasn't bad enough.

But they can do what they want with their billboards. If repukes say "consequences" with liberal talk, the same is true for them. Consequences; let them eat dollar.

8. Soon, Hannity will be anchoring the news for Fox.
As things start to fall apart, they'll need to have the hard core propagandists in charge.

Or maybe those posters of "Big Brother" from 1984. I can see it now- rednecks with velvet Bush pictures on their grimy walls.

16. North Korea
North Korea is famous for the ubiquitous billboards of "Dear Leader" and "Glorious Leader". I think Kim Jong Il and Dubya ought to get a room.

15. hmmmm...
why is it that when compared to the previously posted view of this "billboard," the words don't line up the same. For instance, the bottom tagline doesn't seem to be positioned the same in relation to the lights.
