essential life goal, as my father the republican would say, would be to have money. I told him I wanted to be a writer, he said "Why, there's no money in that." my conservative roomie's goal is to get money. granted I would like a lot of money, but being a writer I can't count on it. I'm one of those who wants to develop a meaningful life.

3. The worship of money is the lubricant that greases our life.It is used |

to the exclusion of all other values.Everything is justifiable in its name: wars, infidelity, betrayal, dishonesty, murder, sexual appetites, greed, you name it.As always money in the hands of the rich is good.Money in the hands of the poor is bad.
All you need to confirm your graphical depiction is to look at the program 20/20 on ABC which catalogs rampant cheating across all college campuses for grades which assure one their seat at the table of American prosperity. No student interviewed expressed any shame or remorse for plagiarizing entire term papers. They described these as acts of survival.
I am sure you won't find Jerry Falwell castigating these students as stridently as he does young girls getting an abortion.
