3. It was the day when we lost our innocence
I will never forget that day-what I was doing, how I felt after I heard the news. It was raining, and as I walked home after school was let out early, my tears joined with the raindrops. It was as if the entire world was crying.

6. One consolation: He would probably be dead of natural causes by now.
All I have left is humor.

9. I was 12 years old when it happened.
I have never recovered and still have unsettling dreams about this event.

My Grandfather knew and was personal friends with some very well known Democrats in Missouri. I learned the meaning and significance of this tragedy at a very young age.

14. That's your opinion. Others find humor in the conspiracy theories.
I will not apologize for trying to find humor in it.

10. why was it innocent before that
21 days before President Diem was assasinated with at the very least US knowledge if not at their instigation. Diem was a shit but the US wanted him out of the way not to help Vietnamese people but to further their own interests

11. because I was 12,
and my classmates and I had an idealized way of looking at the world. We felt safe and adored our President, listened to Vaughn Meader and the First Family record, and thought things would only get better after the masterful handling of the Cuban Missle Crisis.

Like others, I have not forgotten that day and the hopes and dreams that died with it.

I think that it was a pivotal moment in my life, just as 9/11 was a pivotal moment in so many people's lives.

It was a time traveling JFK from an alternate future where he didn't get killed who did it, in order to protect his legacy and the worlds future...

13. I believe he knows who did it...
Poppy was a CIA operative (if not a full-blown agent) involved in the Bay of Pigs operation, and was most likely pissed JFK didn't provide USAF air cover for the invasion.

Poppy didn't pull a trigger, but that old bastard knows who did it...:grr:
