So I was listening to the radio the day after Thanksgiving... |
|
And every hour, at the top of the hour, is a national media newsbreak.
Every single hour that day, they reported about the administration's concerns over how Ukraine will resolve its election disputes.
I just have to say, it's so heartening to know they truly do care about other nations after all. The fact that on the day after Thanksgiving, all they could think or talk about was Ukraine, showed such a genuine concern, I was touched.
But - and I know I'm being cynical here - it seemed just a wee bit odd.

The media is all over this story. Meanwhile, on the homefront, they are mostly quiet about our own voting irregularities. The cynical part of me wonders if they have been told to draw the attention away from our voting situation.
The U.S. has become the perpetually nosey neighbor who has plenty of his or her own problems to address, but would rather stick their nose in someone else's business.
