2. Ha ha ha! Heinz gave 83% to republicans!
I am sorry but that is funny. Also, there aren't any blue grocery stores near me, so I guess I'm screwed.

4. Me Too!
But I hear there is an impossibly long wait!

And it gets hard because while Toyota over all supports Dems, JM Family (the distributor in the Southeast) supports Repubs!

5. Since so many are going broke, it will add to the corporations' problems.

I can't afford to buy much, so screw 'em anyway. I've lived on Cream of Wheat for the past week. I hope Nabisco isn't evil...didn't see them on there and haven't looked them up.

Kraft uses Genetically Engineered (GMO/GE) stuff in their products!

Off topic, I know, but a good reason to avoid...

Well, one thing at a time.

It should be against the law to splice fish genes into tomatoes and stuff like that. Something just seems "wrong" with that.

6. Love the idea....
Not all that sure of the accuracy of the site though. Some of us have already been doing it nevertheless. For my part, I've cut my cable down to basic, canceled a phone line, stopped drinking orange juice from Fla, changed my vacation from a red state to a blue state, etc. Remember folks, the only vote you can be sure will be counted accurately is when you mail your bills out every month. Money obsessed scumbag republican-leaning corps will always make sure your vote for a dem is lost, folded, spindled, and mutilated but they always count your dollars accurately. So vote with your money!(you get to do it every month and every time you choose to spend a single cent)

9. Nearly impossible
Most businesses think repubs are good for them these days. The American god (MAKE NO MISTAKE) is a LUST for money. I don't care how many hillbilly redneck white trash preachers they line up to say otherwise.

12. Its a good idea, but...
if you are looking to affect the potential success of "the mandate", it won't matter where you spend. The war machine in general is funded by the economy as a whole, regardless of where purchases are made. Two thirds of the economy is driven by consumer purchases. The only hope to limit "the mandate" is to reduce spending overall. As far as where this reduced spending goes...I am all for favoring the good guys, the costcos, the mom and pops.
