certainly, not enough are outraged.

|
and was so sad for those months with no Mike & Kathy, was super happy when they put him on AAR...i had stopped listening to Thom and was listening to Al, but have switched back to Thom since Nov 3rd, not so happy with Al as of late, although grateful for all he has done.

thank GORE he 'invented' the INTERNET's
yeah, al is funny but he don't know half as much as thom and i wanna know my shit when i am making plans, discussing pressing issues, hold the leaders feet to the fire.
but i am glad he's out there, today he had m. Kingsley(sp) on, who i got to know when he was on cnn and then on his 'blog' both are birds of a feather in a sense - smart, rich, elitist - but even they were struggling to come to terms with the unmitigated disaster we are witnessing today and for me that is why franken's humor seems off at times, like whistling past the graveyard but he is certainly still a force to be reckond with and LOVE what he did to O'Really - lol - glad he's on the front lines fighting the good fight :bounce:

he tends to believe shit that seems obvious to me to be false, like WMD (he believed that crap & Powell) and he was quick to think, "Kerry Lost" and dismiss Voter fraud...i love Al & am grateful, but he is a bit behind sometimes....

32. if we don't fix voting machines, there won't be any more REAL elections... |
|
we really need an investigation and a paper trail, Bev Harris told everyone and it was an OBVIOUS problem, Congressman Wexler, filed a lawsuit in Fl and they dismissed it 2 years before the Presidential election....it just really unnerves me, we saw it coming, it happened and some just move on like, well, we gotta try harder last time, as if we actually lost ....argggh...sorry, i am home sick with a cold, laying in bed with laptop obsessing...

43. TY, just checked the link... |

daughter wanted to start decorating for x-mas tonight, i am just not into it :( besides having a cold and being home sick today, this election debacle and the last 4 plus years fight has me a bit ...not in the holiday spirit....i need to get in the mood, for the kids atleast....both me and husband are way overboard with this poltical situation....
anyway, Mac stuff is cool....i bought husband a pod for his b-day, then he got me 1 for last xmas....that is a hell of a comute u have, u really need to get the family to pitch in and get u a pod and the cassette tape adapter thingy so u can listen to yer favorite stuff on yer drive...and audible is awesome too, listening to audiobooks is very addicitive and a nice escape when you get poltically saturated and need an escape...

49. what do we tell our children... |
|
that is the question that haunts me and the 1 question i wanted to ask kerry...
i've always taught my children to respect truth and knowledge and to actively pursue it so they've known since 12/12/00 that something very wrong was going down... in a lot of ways i think it has made it somewhat easier to cope with knowing what we/they were dealing with from the beginning.
don't get me wrong, i try to shelter and distract my children from this mess the best i can and is why i canceled cable back in early 02 right after my 6 year old son asked me 'what if we lost' the war on terrorism, ah man i almost started to cry but i let him know we didn't have anything to worry about being so far away and especially how WEAK Afghanistan and Iraq was and it would probably be over quickly... how could i tell him my true fears
it is very difficult now and i deeply understand your situation... i am going through the motions and trying to make as many jokes as i can about the chimp and his criminal administration to keep them all calm whenever it gets tense for them, in the spirit of 'it's a beautiful life'
nite, very nice meeting you :toast:

i have tried to always protect my kids and tell them the truth at the same time....

Ok good, now YOU DO too. Tomorrow I want you to call your congress critters and DEMAND investigations.
Trust me, as a former Red Cross worker the public report released by the ICRC is mild in comparison with the reality.
And I wish I could give you a taste...
(oh and not the American Red Cross, one organization that should also be called to task... as they should be protesting this too)

While working, I'm watching the snow fall. It's one of those 'wet' shows that covers everything. Every twig and power-line is coated in an ethereal beauty. As I look at nature's production, I listen to tales of unspeakable torture and the use of unspeakable weapons on the citizens of Iraq.
There are few words. Insanity.
