Search underway for another small plane crash in Missouri

They just came on the news and said a small plane apparently crashed approx. 3 miles from take off at the Spirit of St. Louis airport in West St. Louis County. This is a small airport on highway 40 just before you cross the Missouri river into St. Charles county.

So far there are search crews out but no crash site yet. They are saying 2 people were on board headed for Toledo, OH. We are having heavy snow here where I live about 1/2 hour south of there.

I haven't seen anything yet. It's not snowing here - St. Louis County - just rain as far as I can see, though I don't know how cold it is - if any of it is freezing.

I was just commenting tonight to my father how many small plane crashes there have been lately.
