Georgia and nation up in arms about 'security mom' who was beat up by cop
We hear about cases involving police brutality all the time, but in this particular case, the officer was black and the female was white.

According to reports, after being told to move from the non-parking zone, the woman reversed and (inadvertently?) hit the officer with her side mirrors. She then swung her car door open, hitting the police officer a second time. Frankly, I've seen black guys beaten up for less.

The officer tried to press charges against the woman but his case was thrown out, although he could face punishment for his actions. Is there a double standard?

2. Where in the world did that headline come from?
The article's headline is "Video Details Controversial Arrest." I didn't read anything in the essay about a number of people being "up in arms" about this incident.

I'm puzzled.

3. its made the national news
It's been on the news here a lot lately, but this is the first time that I've actually listened to the story (since my TV was on mute all the other times).
