How will it go down?
This is so big that it's difficult to imagine how the situation will be resolved. Here's what I think can happen:
  • The election results are overturned and Kerry is declared the winner.
  • Bush concedes gracefully leading to a smooth transition of power.
  • The world breathes a sigh of relief.
  • The media abruptly re-adjusts.
  • A series of official investigations are ordered.
  • Many of our favorite rogues end up with ruined lives.
  • Deals are cut to protect Bush and a few others.

How do you think it'll go down?

5. I would love to see bush act maturely and concede but it won't happen
listen to his speech in Canada. He will probably think it is in the best interest to stay in power.

8. He may not have a choice.
Unless his gang can produce a national emergency. Another war perhaps.

7. Works for me
But let's not get too far ahead of ourselves. There is a vast right wing conspiracy arrayed against our democracy and they do have the upper hand. Of course we have many more hands than they, so the question is: Will we put it all our hands together and shove those bastards out of our way?

10. I think Ian's pictorial map
is the most likely path we'll take.

But thanks for keeping hope alive, for what it's worth, ya crazy ol' sob (affectionate knuckling of the head)

Edited on Tue Nov-30-04 11:19 PM by VioletLake
I'm not familiar with it. Care to enlighten a crazy ol' sob?

:eyes:

Ok... I get it. I don't agree though.

12. I don't doubt that the Bush gang
is capable of the atrocities in Ian's pictorial map but I think it's a little farfetched for now.

I'll revise my map if and when Bush is inagurated. He's on shaky ground until then, and it seems to be getting more unstable.

BTW, the last point in my list is probably the first thing that will happen.

and enough defectors put Kerry over the top.
