Our new name: "The Preamble Progressives".
Our mission statement, per the Preamble of the Constitution:

"We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America."

In order:

- unity
- justice
- tranquility
- defence
- general welfare
- liberty
- prosperity

Whaddya'think.

NOTE that "unity" is at the top of the list but requires a commitment to everything else that follows.

4. Pulled it from "Skinner's" thread,...
,...and "Gordianot" reminded me/us of that Preamble,...which we ARE and always have been!!!

What greater theme for our people,...than the Preamble that invoked the creation of this country!!!!

5. It must be in my "genes", huh.
I simply cannot escape my love of humanity.

I guess that makes me either "weird" or some "enemy" to smash by those who really do NOT believe in the capacity of humanity to,...achieve the best of all of us.
