Grew up in an Assemblies of God household. I can spot them a mile away.

3. do you know where I can find more info
or can you tell me about the Assemblies of God? My sister became a member in the past couple of years. She turned into something my family no longer recognizes and my youngest sister says it is like a cult (I dont't know if she is being dramatic or not). I had never really heard of that church before she said that is where she goes.

7. Ashcroft is Assemblies of God
Having been part of it until a few years ago I can say that it is a sect I'd prefer did not exist -- though it's certainly not the worst -- but I'm unaware of any good assessments around. If you're familar with Ashcroft and his positions on dancing, sex, pornography, and various other subjects you have an idea of what the AoG is like since as per the subject line, he is part of that sect. They heavily support missionaries and other forms of evangelizing.

5. He sits on the right hand
of Oral Roberts and son. One of the "End Times" screamers...damn what's his name. Kenneth Copeland is his name..anyway he and the Roberts boys have a show where they are predicting this dark cloud coming over the earth and the "End Times" so near they can taste it. So send in those checks fast folks! Wouldn't want to have a check in the mail on the "End Day"! Thees rapists of religion would be the first people Jesus would go after, changing coins in the temples.

This religion stuff has me so upset. Christianity is such a loving faith, as all faiths are at their core, but boy can they be twisted for evil doing.

Someone posted would Jesus Christ support the Iraq war? Well I wont say he speaks to me daily like Kenny Copeland and the Roberts, Robertson, and Falwell do but I do know he hated violence. "Turn the other cheek" "Judge not least you be judged" He was an inclusive man of Peace. So the answer to that question is HELL NO! WWJD? Be very scared for the people of the world and he would rise up and challenge the govt. and organized religion (he has this track record).

When a Repiglican wants to talk politics with me I have 2 pat answers that usually shut them up.
One: look up liberal and conservative in the dictionary. Which do you want your kid to be?
Then What Would Jesus Do?
They get flustered, start spouting Bible verses mostly Old Testament stuff and the definition deal just blows their minds. Do you want an open thinker who looks for change to improve the human condition or a kid who is content to sit on their ass and never achieve any progression in society. Try it you'll like it.

9. "Rapist of religion"
I really like that expression. Mind you I don't think that Rligions are that important. Spirituality is.

Keep on going fighting the hypocrit.

This man eyes are filled with GREED .

20. If we want to talk definitions,
I kind of dig the "Moderate, cautious" part of "conservative." It's not all bad...

Keeping in mind, of course, that this administration is not conservative in the proper definition of the word; rather, it's more like a combination of the worst aspects of both conservatives and liberals.

18. he reached for his quart container of custom blended foundation
and accidentally grabbed the can of latex wood putty instead. No one noticed since they were all too groggy from the previous night's bacchanalia which was exceptionally frenzied what with that cute new Holstein that was recently delivered to their mansion in the Terrible Swift Sword gated community.

19. I don't know who this guy is, but
he looks like he and his wife(?) are trying a little too hard to appear "regular" and "all-American." From his face, I also get the feeling that he believes in an old-school "kind but tough" approach to family matters.

Who is he?

22. Ken Copeland
He lives down the street from my sister. My brother in law won't let me throw beer cans at his yard because he says they have some kind of deal with the cops to let his security shoot people who do stuff like that. Strangely, I don't necessarily think that my BIL was exaggerating.

I see him occasionally while channel surfing and I always get a little twinge of gaydar. Deeply surpressed, self-hating gaydar. Anybody else?
