Anderson Cooper comes out to Falwell on CNN
From Raw Story

(on the lighter side of the news)

Anderson Cooper apparently outs himself interviewing Jerry Falwell Monday

Anderson Cooper comes out on CNN Monday

While many have long ‘known’ CNN’s Anderson Cooper was gay, he apparently confirmed his sexuality while interviewing one of the most notoriously homophobic religious leaders in the United States, Rev. Jerry Falwell.

<snip>

COOPER: But there are a lot of gay families out there, Reverend Falwell, there are a lot of gay families out there. I think there are like a million kids being raised by gay parents who say that if you want to protect families, you know, civil unions will give

inheritance rights, will give Social Security, survivor benefits rights to…

FALWELL: Anderson, that’s all a red herring. If you want to leave something to your cat, you can do that in your will…

COOPER: It’s not a red herring. That’s simply not true. It’s not true. You know we pay taxes.

4. Damn that Falwell and the rest of his phobic freaks
I would like to see evidence, from anywhere in the country, or the world for that matter, that a heterosexual marriage broke up or was canceled because somewhere in some city, there was a same sex marriage.

8. Constitutional Amendment to Ban Divorce . . .
Would that be a better Defense of Marriage ?

Look at what the Catholic Church says about divorce.

13. Bush and Cheney are on Sharpton's side on civil unions
no mention in this whole discussion of probably the most dramatic development in the gay marriage story, which is Bush's eleventh-hour conversion to the democratic position on civil unions.

14. CNN CHANGED THE FRIGGING TRANSCRIPT!!!!!!!
I was just on their site. I had to show the husband the interview transcript and there it was! They changed the line where Anderson said "WE pay taxes" to "YOU pay taxes."
Man, I hate CNN.
