A Good Start : Democrats should boycott FOX News....
Stay away. Don't go on their shows. Make your statement now. We are tired of their right-wing bias and bullshit masquerading as "news". Take a stand. You are doing nothing to help yourself or the Party by dancing to their little tunes.

22. well imo the reason that other networks are dumping on
Edited on Wed Dec-01-04 02:11 PM by ooglymoogly
their traditional audience in favor of moving to the right is pressure from their advertisers. lets face it folks its the big co's that keep fox going and put bushco in power and what is making the other networks move to the right. we need to tvo fux news for a day jot down all the sponsors, post them on du and boycott them.
my bet is they are the same as the red co's on www.choosetheblue.com

6. Cancel DirecTV
if you have it. Owned by Murdoch & DishTV is much better (more public service channels & better rates, less FOX channels).

9. I agree, no Democrat should go on Fox news. It's not a news channel
it's nothing more than Republican mouth pieces!

10. yes, i am doing my part, i canceled cable and LET THEM KNOW
(caps for emphasis) that it was due to faux. Therefore, i would appreciate it if my dem leaders would follow my example and only go on "our media" such as Air America.

And while I am pontificating here, I want all dem leaders everywhere to know this, I gave money to the democrats this year (including $100 to John Kerry) and I make exactly $8.15 an hour. I also phone called and door belled, and I will not, and i mean, will not do anything like that again if they do not address black box voting, meaning a verified paper trail, a way to double check results. And that includes making it illegal for republican owned companies to make our voting machines.

I feel better now.

12. I don't think dems should be restricted to "our" media. I just think
a loud statement of "we're not gonna take it Fox news" is necessary. However, Fox is not the only culprit. But dems dont wanna look like they are avoiding dissent, just RW propaganda.

11. I believe strongly that democrats should NOT go on Fox news
I don't believe they get their points across. They always get skewered (at least what I saw when I used to watch). It's useless. It's fodder for RW media. Fuck Fox! How many times has Bush avoided a crowd (NAACP?) that he feels might be hostile to him? I think a boycott of even the idea that Fox is a news channel is a good idea.

14. Never have watched it, but I'm concerned....
If all Dem pundits and party representatives refused to appear on Fox, then couldn't Fox just create their own so-called Democrats to appear? That way they continue to maintain the illusion of inclusion, and the ignorant fools who watch don't know any better.

Just musing. I don't watch tv, so it doesn't have any effect on my viewing habits.

Because the other networks would jump all over the story since they do not like that FOx is now #1...
