Just temporarily, of course. Until the elections are held, at which point all the fighting will stop and peace will magically break out over the land.

Meanwhile, it looks like the month of November could be the deadliest month so far for American soldiers in Iraq. icasualties.org is showing 134 Americans killed in Iraq, and there will probably be a few more announced for the last days of November. The worst month before this was April, in which 135 American soldiers were killed.
