I was looking through this list of MSNBC poll questions and responses. Using the page below as a snapshot, the questions listed average 23,000 responses per question, the lowest response over 2,000. The question about Scott Peterson receiving the death penalty tallied over 83,000 responses (71% favoring death).

This kind of mind-numbing/dumbing-down of America, brought to you c/o our "media," underscores the fact that there's nothing like a salacious sex scandal or murder caper to capture America's undivided attention.

Fallujah napalmed by US tax dollars?

US casualties in Iraq increasing, not decreasing?

Who the hell cares?
