I was lucky enough to hear Randi talking about it on Monday, has Al, Chuck D, or Jeanene mentioned this?

The should be front page news in every paper, they want to drug our children, this is very serious and scary.

Has Mike Malloy said anything?

Who else is talking about it? I know that asshat G. Gordon Liddy has mentioned it, as well as Fox News.

People need to know about this.

1. Strange situation ...
I have only seen this issue picked up, mostly, by right-wing and various propaganda outlets. Yet, I have heard that Rep. Ron Paul's office confirmed the passing of the bill that creates the commission.

That may be why my original posted news on the issue was suspect. Mindfreedom.org has more info on the details concerning this Huxley/Orwell approach to controlling society.

I take the "innocent until proven guilty" approach to it. I can see no justification to have any mandatory invasions like that. Also, when you consider emergent behavior in complex systems, issues like these become very suspect. Mind control on a mass scale, (implied) or "adjustment" if you will, sounds like the antithesis to an expected change.

From what I understand, the impetus of this travesty is to gradually go from testing children 4-18 and then progress to all citizens.

"Oh brave new world, its wonders to behold!"

2. I've talked to Ron Paul's people myself and they confirmed for me
but hello! Why is this not everywhere?

For once the freepers and the DUers actually agree on something, I'm glad that we all think this is a horrible idea.

3. What concerns me though
is that we are getting a literal barrage of issues from one end of the spectrum to the other.

The Republican strategy is, admittedly, Orwellian. That is, in the sense that they intend to keep shifting the reality rapidly so that their opposition cannot keep up with it. They are accomplishing it in most respects.

Via revisionism they are trying to control the past. Via the media they are trying to control the present. Via legislation and Government, they are trying to control the future. That's a full house!

They are on a full tilt assault as the ultimate band of control freaks. They appear to be at “war” rather than participating reasonably in a political process with their opposition. War has different rules as Sun Tzu would clearly illustrate. I don't think we can enlighten them as to why that is wrong on so many levels.

So, it is no wonder that Liberals feel frustrated and upset. I don't say confused because, even when we are confused, we can still think better than many wing-nuts. Taken aback? Shock? Perphaps.

If you want to have a strategy, then the above has to be taken into consideration first.
